DON’T STAY CHILLY—INSTALL ZONE CONTROL HEATING FOR WINTER

So, if you live in a home where the upstairs is always stuffy, and the downstairs is always cold then zone control heating is a great idea. If you need great Hanford, CA, HVAC services then contact our team today.

SO, HOW DO ZONE CONTROL SYSTEMS WORK?

A zone control system uses a series of dampers throughout the ducts in your home. It splits your home into different zones. Each of these zones has its own thermostat installed in it which controls the closest dampers. This allows you to heat a certain area in your home precisely.

Many people liken this to simply closing the vents in certain areas of your home, but it isn’t the same.

Your HVAC system isn’t made to operate with certain vents closed—a zone control system allows greater comfort.

Zone control systems still have a “master” thermostat that controls the whole home, too. But the luxury of this system is that you don’t always have to heat or cool the entire home when you want to turn on your heater. This is both convenient and energy efficient. There are many instances where this is useful.

Do you wake up early for work on winter mornings to a frosty chill in your home? You want to feel warm while you get ready, but maybe you don’t want to heat your entire home, just the bedroom and bathroom. Zone control heating allows this!
