Indoor Air Quality Concerns to Address This Fall

Fall is here, and that means we’ll soon be shutting down our air conditioners and revving up our heaters to deal with the cold weather. Along with that shift, however, comes the resurgence of indoor air quality concerns. When winter sets in, a lot of us are going to be keeping windows closed and heaters running to maintain a comfortable indoor climate. That’s all well and good, but it does mean that there will be a buildup of airborne contaminants and an increased likelihood of illness. Why Your Heat Pump Needs Fall Maintenance

Gift of Warmth – 3rd Annual Blanket Drive

Cold weather serves as a reminder that the kind of warmth and comfort that so many of us enjoy is hard to come by for others. Make a difference in the lives of those in need by giving the gift of warmth. Shaw’s will be hosting our 3rd annual blanket drive. Starting October 1, 2015 – December 31, 2015.

We will match all donations and will be taking all the blankets to our local Kings County homeless shelters.

At the end of every summer we like to give a HUGE thank you to our employees for working their tails off when it’s hotter than blazes out. Also a HUGE thank you to their spouses and families for putting up with them working so late. This year we held our 1st annual SHAW’s BBQ Smoke Off. We all had a blast!
